NEW RELEASE - Peace of mind

As we approach the end of the world (as we know it)...

The latest release is best described as a indie pop / rock song with a blend of contemporary folk and acoustic rock with a strong ecological message. The song features prominent acoustic guitar work, melodic vocals, and a songwriting style that emphasizes storytelling and introspection. The arrangement is organic, with a focus on natural instrumentation rather than heavy electronic production, which is characteristic of modern folk and singer-songwriter genres.

This track was originally written for the show "Thinking about our world" with poet Bob Harding-Jones which was performed in 2010. This version of the track was recorded at Andrew Neve's studio in Oxfordshire and features the soprano sax of Ian Blake. Vocals and all guitars by Brian Heywood with programming, keyboards, backing vocals and bass guitar played by Andy Neve.
